St Augustine Lighthouse Investigation

St Augustine Lighthouse Investigation
Jan. 6th, 2008
I just returned from a amazing trip to investigate the lighthouse in St. Augustine, Fl. The organizer of the trip was none other then Todd Sheets, founder of the ever growing and popular virtual online investigation group called, “The Nightwatchers”. Check them out if you are not familiar with them. Just click here to go to their site: Nightwatchers

By the way, the Ghosthunters just returned last week from a second trip to this lighthouse and there is a rumor that they will discuss this topic on their new show that premiers this coming Wednesday. The new show is on the Sci-fi channel and it is called”Ghost Hunters International’. The time will be 9 PM EST and 8:00 Central time. So watch the show to find out the scoop. Here is the link to the show if you would like to know more: GhostHunters Show

Well, we started out Saturday by meeting for dinner at Scarlett O’Hara Restaurant in downtown St. Augustine. The dinner was just delicious and it was so wonderful meeting friends in person that I have only known on-line for a few years. It was also great re-connecting with on-line friends with whom I have previously attended other Ghost Hunting trips and events. Some of these people have remarkably become my closest friends.

We then arrived at the lighthouse entrance. I was so impressed with Tod’s organized and professional manner in handling this event. He took attendance and gave everyone on the registration list a sticker to wear on their clothing. I thought it was a great idea and a wonderful way to control non-registered members of the general public from joining in with our hunt.

He then divided us into two teams and named two team leaders. I felt privileged to be on Psychic Serenity Moore’s team. One team would investigate the lighthouse first while the other team investigated the Light-keeper’s home and ground area. After three hours the teams would switch.

While we were investigating the grounds, Serenity got a psychic message that someone named Steven used to work the grounds a long time ago. She decided to ask one of the staff available that night about this and found out that there really was man named Steve that worked there a long time ago. I thought it was so exciting to see her message validated as a historical fact by the lighthouse current employees.

I then went to the second floor of the light-keeper’s home. I took a few pictures but mostly, Lorrie from the Ghost Chicks and I worked with a AM/FM radio from Radio Shack that had been converted to work like Frank’s Box. If you are not familiar with this concept, check out this website here for an introduction: Frank’s Box

The method to convert the radio involved opening it up and cutting a wire. Lorrie and her partner, Tara completed this task during their road trip to Florida. The conversion seem to work while they were on the road as the radio did not pick up any radio stations when set to the scan setting.

However once we tried it in the lighthouse home, it did pick up bits and pieces of a few stations here and there while it was in scan mode. In any case, we did hear a few a voices. One said, what the —-? in response to one of our questions. I forget what the question was. Whether it was a radio show host or spirit remains a mystery at this point.

I then suggested to Lorrie that maybe the wires should have been cut and then tied. Also, that perhaps, the wires met and that was why the radio still picked up bits and pieces of the radio stations.

I made an analogy to tubal ligation surgeries that are done on females. In the old days, the tubes were just cut and unfortunately, sometimes the tubes touched and the procedure failed. Later on, they revised the procedure so that the tubes were cut first and then tied. This was proven a lot more effective. She thought, I had a good point and intends to work on the radio some more. Hopefully, it will work better on our next Ghost Hunting trip.

I spent the rest of the time during the first half of the investigation taking pictures of the lighthouse grounds and lighthouse home. I got a few pictures with orbs that may well be dust particles. I have posted them in an album called, “The St. Augustine Lighthouse”, in my picture section on this site.

I also spent a little time sitting on a bench outside the entrance to the lighthouse. While I was sitting there talking to other people on my team, I kept seeing a cat walk across the same bush over and over again. A couple people noticed that I kept looking at the same area, they also looked towards the same place however they did not see anything.

Maybe I was seeing an imprinted haunting. This is a special type of haunting where the event occurs over and over again. By the way, there is an actual black and white lighthouse cat that currently lives on the lighthouse grounds named Lucy. However, this was not the cat that I kept seeing.

Finally, the time came to rotate the two teams and I got to enter the lighthouse building itself. I entered and carefully took many pictures of the never ending spiral staircase. I thought it would never end. It was a real aerobic workout getting all the way to the top of the lighthouse. The view from the observation deck at the top was however, breathtaking!!

In a few pictures, I got a mystery mist. When I looked at it on my small camera screen, the mist looked like an apparition. I got excited because Paula from Parahub radio was also taking a picture of the same area and also got a similar mystery white mist.

However, after looking at my pictures at home and uploading them. I think the mist that appeared in most of my pictures may have been a reflection of my camera lens as I took these pictures in the dome area of the tower.

In contrast, Paula’s mist was looks like an apparition in nature as her mist is underneath one of the sides of a spiral staircase. In any case, the real source might just remain a mystery. In other pictures, I got orbs but these may be also just pictures of dust particles.

In all, it was a great trip and I encourage people to go to this lighthouse if you get an opportunity. Whether you experience any paranormal activity or not, I think it is worth the trip. It is a historical site and has a very haunted past. For more information about the history of the hauntings, check out this site:About St. Augustine’s lighthouse ghosts.

Clairaudience, Sleep Paralysis or a combination of both?

Clairaudience, Sleep Paralysis or a combination of both?
Nov. 28,2007
This is a story about a Paranormal event that I experienced when I was just 15 years old. At the time, my family and I had just moved into a new home. The movers had not yet finished delivering our furniture. Therefore, for the first month, my entire family and I slept in the same bedroom.

One time during this month, I suddenly awoke from a dead sleep, sat straight up in my bed, wanted to scream so badly but I could not. The reason I wanted to scream is because I was hearing things that were really scaring me.

I heard a lot of noise. The noise seemed to be coming from my living room. I heard people running back and forth, heard people giving other people orders on what to do but I could not make out what was being said. It seemed to be the kind of noise you were hear in a hospital emergency room.

At this point, I thought people had broken into my home and I was just scared out of my mind. I also could not understand why everyone else in my family which were all asleep in the same bedroom did not seem to hear anything and were all sound asleep.

After the noise quieted down, I was finally able to scream and started to cry hysterically. My parents immediately woke up and tried to comfort and calm me down. They told me the noise I heard was just a dream and to try to get back to sleep. My father however did check out the entire home and assured me that no one had broken into our house.

However, the next day, my family got two different phone calls. The first phone call informed us that a family member from my father’s side died in a hospital emergency room, several states away, during the night. No one in my family even knew that one of our family members was even sick. The second phone call informed us that another family member on my mother’s side also died in his sleep during the same night.

So what do you all think? Was this Sleep Paralysis, Clairaudience or a combination of the two?

Hearing a Phone Conversation 5 hours before it Occurs

Hearing a Phone Conversation 5 hours before it Occurs
Nov. 22, 2007

It has been almost been a year now since my nephew and his girlfriend died of a drug overdose and were found dead in the bed of her dorm room at a State University in Florida. It was on a Sunday at around 8:00 PM when we got the news.

Here is an article if you would like to read about this story:

Article about the incident

Here is a link to my nephew’s MYSPACE page where his friends are still leaving grief related messages :

Ricky’s MYSPACE PROFILE

Here is a link to his girlfriend’s MYSPACE page:

Nikki’s MYSPACE Profile

I am sure some of you may remember me sending out a bulletin shortly thereafter. In the bulletin, I warned all of you of the dangers of drugs. I also asked all of you to you to stop if you were taking illegal drugs as I did not want to lose anyone else in my life due to a drug overdose.

Even though we did not get the official news that day until 8:00 PM, I was at my computer in my bedroom that day at around 3:00 PM. The rest of my family was in the living room. I heard one of our three phones ring. I did not get up to answer as I noticed that it stopped ringing and it seemed like my husband answered it.

I heard him talk to what it seemed to me to be, his mom. I heard him say out-loud, “What??? What about little Ricky?”. Ricky is our nephew and they call him little Ricky because his dad, my husband’s brother, has the same name and my family like to call him, big Ricky.

I heard bits and piece of the rest of the conversation but could not make out what was said next. I meant to ask my husband for the rest of the afternoon, what his mom told him about little Ricky.

I, however, kept getting distracted with other weekend activities and kept forgetting to ask him. I now really wish that I had. This is because he is a skeptic of all Paranormal events and this would have shook him up because of what happened when we got the actual phone call at 8:00 PM that night.

So that night at about 8:00 PM, I was again on my computer and again heard one of our three phones ring. Again, it sounded like my husband was talking to his mom. Again, he said the same words aloud.

This time, I came running out of the room to see what the story was. Having my husband say the same words twice in one day made me feel that the news was not ordinary.

My husband was holding the phone, still talking with his mom and had a look of shock on his face. I whispered to him, “what is it about little Ricky?”. He whispered back while still trying to listen to his mom which was hysterical, “he passed away today “. I asked him to repeat it, not wanting to believe what I was hearing. He repeated the same thing again. I immediately started to cry and now I was also hysterical.

After the phone call and I had calmed down a bit. I asked my husband whether his mom has called earlier and told him something else about little Ricky? He asked me why?

I told him about hearing the phone ring earlier around 3:00 PM, hearing him answer the phone and hearing him say the same words aloud that he said when the actual phone call came in.

He said that the phone never rang earlier and this was the first time he had spoken to his mom today. Personally, I was stunned because I had never had an experience like this happen to me before. He just said, he thought that was interesting but I could tell that he thought it was not possible for this to have happened.

So, my questions are, is there any specific name for this kind of psychic occurrence? I have researched many Paranormal and Psychic web-sites since then and I have not found anything that fits my case exactly. Could this be a  clairaudiance,  premonition, precognition or an experience that is a combination of some of these? Also, has anyone here experienced something like this before?

Bardstown Ghost Hunting Trip Part 3

Bardstown Ghost Hunting Trip Part 3
10-23-2007

To quickly review, when I finished part 2 of the Bardstown’s blog, we had just been notified that people which were viewing the live web cast had heard a woman screaming and I had noted that no one else was in the building.

At this point I decided to go to another part of the inn to investigate some other areas. I did not witness any other paranormal events. However, the people that stayed in the first room I had just left, reported what happened next.

They said that Patti Starr had called out to Jessie Jame’s spirit and asked him to make himself known by opening the door that I described in part 2 of my blog. To everyone’s surprise, the door did open and there was no one to be seen anywhere near the door. I am kind of sorry I left and missed this event which seemed to be the highlight of the investigation and the live web cast. I must note that the rest of the trip was not web cast live. Only the main investigation at the Talbott Tavern was.

The next day, our group went Ghost hunting to a small museum and a restaurant in the area. We got a few EVP’s. That night, I was so tired that I went to sleep early. However, a lot of the people in my group decided to stay up till 4:00 AM in the morning to Ghost Hunt in the Tavern we were staying in. In the morning, they reported seeing a shadow ghost peering around the corner near the room I was staying in of all places. For those of you not familiar with Shadow Ghosts, here are two web sites that explain what they are:

Shadow Ghosts 1

Shadow Ghosts 2

The last night we were there, we again went Ghost Hunting at an opera house in town. We again got a few EVP’s. There was several interpretations of what one EVP said. We all listened to it. This spirit seemed to have an attitude. Some people thought, it said, “Help, stupid bitch”. Others thought it said, “Help Bitch”. In any case, this spirit did seem to be lacking in manners. 🙂

Later on, I went to the room where some of the girls in my group were staying. I was sitting in a nice comfortable chair in the room and telling them about my experience with my wedding rings that I described in the first part of this blog. Two other girls were laying down on a bed near me listening to my story. I just got through telling them that I thought the spirit was a woman.

Susan Rushing, one of the hosts of the live web cast during the first night and who is also a psychic, said that she thought it really was a woman because woman’s wedding rings were topics that ladies liked to discuss.. She then asked me if I had just kicked her bed. I told her I had not and remarked that I was sitting way to far from the bed to even reach the bed with my feet. She then sat upright and noticed I was right. I then stated that the kicking could have been the spirit validating my story and our conclusion. She then said she felt another kick. I said, “See, I think I am right”

She then stated that she felt that the woman spirit had a guitar shape type of figure. As soon as she finished saying that, she felt someone hit her butt and said, “ouch”. I started to laugh and told her that it was apparent that the spirit did not like the remark about her body type.

Well, these are the details of the entire trip in a nutshell. In all, it was the most fun I have had in a very long time. By the way, if you have not heard of the other hosts of our live web cast, Bob Hunnicutt and Jason Lewis, hanging out with them is like watching the comedy channel live. I really enjoyed being with them so much and don’t think I have ever laughed so much in three days.

I must also mention how much fun it was to hang out with the other two web cast hosts, Lorrie Jones and Tara Deters. collectively known as the Ghost Chicks. They are such sweet hospital southern ladies.

As a matter of fact, everyone in our group had so much fun that we decided to make GhostHunting in Bardstown an annual event. I am already looking forward to doing this again. Hope you enjoyed hearing about my adventure.

Bardstown Ghost Hunting Trip: Part 2

Bardstown Ghost Hunting Trip: Part 2
Jul 27. 2007

The next day everyone slowly arrived from all over the US. The event was attended by about 17 people. I had a great time seeing some of my Myspace friends that I had already met on other occasions and meeting some Myspace friends for the first time.

Everyone was so excited to be in Bardstown and were looking forward to the main event of the trip. This would happen on Tuesday, July 17th in which our group would investigate the Talbott Tavern. The event was webcast live on the Internet by this site: Paranormal Underworld Here is the banner announcing the event:

Well the investigation started promptly at 7:00 PM. The event took place in the meeting room of the tavern on the second floor. The main host of this event,” Patti Starr”, started out by telling everyone that the tavern is haunted by the Ghost of Jessie James and the spirit of a little girl.

Patti used to be the manager of the Talbott tavern in her single days. Here is a newspaper article about her early days as manager of this tavern. Newspaper Article In this newspaper article, it states that Patti captured an EVP of a women welcoming people to the tavern and she believes it was the voice of Ms. Talbott. For those of you who are not familiar with EVP’s, it stands for Electronic Voice Phenomenon. Evp’s are based on the belief that tape recorders capture voices of spirits that are normally not heard by human ears. Other web pages have stories that will back up the allegation that this tavern is haunted by the late Ms.Talbott which is always seen wearing a white dress. Check out the third story on this site: Ghost Story

Patti then talked about one of the doors of the room we were in. It was a door that was really hard for people to open without pulling on it extra hard. I even tested the door to see if she was right. Normally I am extra strong because I lift weights as part of my fitness routine. I had a real hard time opening this door. She said that she has had other Ghost investigations in the same room in which the door had opened by itself after mentioning Jessie Jackson’s name. She then talked about the two sets of chandeliers in the room. She explained that during other ghost investigations in the same room, the lights have gotten dimmer and had even been turned off upon requesting that the spirits do this.

Patti then also showed everyone a box of crayons that she brought with her and set the crayons out in a playful pattern on one of the tables. She also put the crayon box in a upright position on the table. She said, she hoped that would entice the spirit of the little girl to come out and play with us.

She then started to ask the little girl to reveal herself and play with the crayons. We all waited breathlessly with the cameras going. After a little while, to our surprise and disbelief, the crayon boxed moved back and forth. Susan Rushing, which was also a host of the show, spoke very kindly to the girl’s spirit. She thanked her for revealing herself and coming out to play with us. I thought she did a great job as I myself would not have had the slightest clue on how to respond to this event. Patti then asked the little girl to dim the chandelier lights. To our surprise, the lights got dimmer. She then asked the spirit to make them normal and the lights got back to normal. The little girl delighted everyone by doing this several more times. She also moved the crayon box a few more times for us.

All of a sudden, one of the people that were handling the equipment for the live web cast came into the room. The webcast also included a feature where people whom were viewing the investigation from their homes could capture EVP’s and chat inside a chat room in real time. The person wanted to know whether a person has been screaming in the room we were in? We told her, that no one was screaming. The person informed us that the people in the chat room were reporting that they heard a woman screaming. I should note that no one else was in the hotel during this investigation.

Bardstown Ghost Hunting Trip: Part 1

Bardstown Ghost Hunting Trip: Part 1
Jul 25. 2007

As some of you know, on July 17th, 18th and 19th, I attended a three day Ghost Hunting trip in Bardstown, Kentucky. Wow, what an experience that was. I can tell you all that without a doubt, this was the most fun I have ever had on a Paranormal related trip.

For starters, we stayed at the very haunted Talbott Tavern Bed and Breakfast. Here is a picture of it. It is described on this site: Talbott’s Tavern It is supposedly haunted by the ghost of Jessie James and other entities.

I arrived one night before everyone else. I checked into the inn just in time for the staff to lock up and go home for the night. All guests are issued two keys. One for their rooms and one to lock the building if they leave while the staff is gone for the night. The Tavern has a total of five rooms and the night I arrived, only two other rooms were occupied..

Well, the spirits at this inn did not disappoint. The first night I was there, I took off my diamond anniversary ring and wedding ring set and put them on a little desk that was in front of the wall that faces the restroom. This restroom then faces the street so therefore, they were no rooms in front of it. The minute I finished putting down the rings, I heard a series of 6 or 7 loud knocks right on that table. It was as though a spirit was letting me know that the table was private and I was not to put any of my property on it. Well, needless to say, I was a little spooked but I figured I knew what I was in for when I voluntarily checked into this haunted inn. I then showered and had a quiet uneventful night’s sleep.

In the morning, I began to think about other likely reasons a spirit would knock like this and I have come to the conclusion that in this case, the spirit was a woman. She could have still been angry at the many men during her lifetime and might have been protesting the fact that I was happily married. What do you guys think?

A Mini 6th Grade Reunion Gone Wrong Or Did It?

As some of you know, I just came back from NYC where I had a small reunion with three friends from my elementary school days. All three friends were in my fifth and sixth grade classes.

With the exception of one of the classmates, which I recently wrote about in another blog, I had not seen these people for over 39 years. The other two were the valedictorian and salutatorian of my sixth grade class grade.  These other two classmates were also in my third and fourth grade classes and I have always admired and thought about them a great deal throughout the years. Since we were together for so long, I always felt like they were siblings of mine.

If you read my other blog, you already know how I found my best friend, Sandra, from sixth grade. I used my cyber-sleuth skills to find, George, which was the former salutorian and Elly, which was the former valedictorian, found me on Http://www.Classmates.com.

I got to NYC late on Thursday, the 7th of June. I planned to meet everyone at a restaurant in NYC the next day around 7:00 pm. In the meantime, I saw Elly immediately the first night since she lived very close to the hotel I was staying in. She showed me around town and we went to Applebee’s where her son works and had desert. It was so great seeing her again.

The next day, I slept very late and then took the metro train into the city, which was close to the hotel I was staying in. I was such a trip down memory lane seeing Times Square, Radio City music hall and Rockefeller center. As some of you know, I am originally from NYC but had not been there since 1972.  I took my 13-year old boy to the Nintendo World store, which had been his dream to go to for a while. He had a great time there.

I was disappointed to find that the original New York Style pizza was not available hardly anywhere. This is what I have been craving the most since leaving NYC all those years ago. I did however find coconut flavored Italian style ices which I also loved and had a large serving of it. My son and husband had NYC style hot dogs, which they loved.

While I was on the Metro heading back to my hotel room, I got a voice mail from my best friend Sandra. She had flown into NYC the Tuesday before I did to attend our mini sixth grade reunion.

Her message stated that she could not attend our dinner tonight because her mom had been admitted to the hospital with pneumonia.  Well, needless to say, I was very disappointed that she could not attend and at the same time concerned about her mom. I had hoped to see her mom also. As a sixth grader, I was always hanging out at Sandra’s house and therefore knew her mom well. I had also not seen her for over 39 years.

The dinner the next day was so much fun. George, Elly and I saw each other for the first time in 39 years and we could hardly believe we were together again. George and Elly were romantically involved while in the fifth grade, broke up during that summer and did not speak to each other during the sixth grade even though they were in the same sixth grade class. Since I knew this, I was extra happy to see them speaking to each other again after all of these years

George and Elly were also very disappointed to hear that Sandra could not attend. We however had another get together planned on Sunday night and we were all planning to go to our old elementary school on Monday.

Our school is in the inner city and we planned to talk to the children about never giving up on their dreams. Since we all went to that school and became successful, we wanted to let the kids know that their environment should not dictate their futures and that if they stayed in school and worked hard, they could become as successful as we did.

On Saturday I took the metro train into the city again and visited some tourist attractions and museums. I called Sandra to let her know how much everyone missed her at the dinner party the night before and find out how her mom was doing. She just happened to be close by to where I was and she took a cab to see me. I got to visit with her for about 15 minutes.

Sandra’s husband is a doctor and he was with her at the time. He explained that Sandra’s mom also had terminal Leukemia, the kind that was not related to the bone marrow.  I never knew there were different types of Leukemia. He also explained that because of the Leukemia, her body had a poor immune system and most of the time, when she got sick, she would have to be hospitalized.

Sandra told me that since she got to NYC for the reunion, she and her husband had done nothing but spend their days at the hospital trying to negotiate her mom’s care with the hospital and keeping her mom company. She had not even had time to unpack her suitcase since she arrived. To make a long story short, Sandra never got to attend the dinner meeting with us on Sunday nor go to the elementary school with us on Monday, the 11th of June.

I kept trying to call her but her voice mail kept picking up her cell phone and she would not return my calls. This really worried me. I left NYC Tuesday afternoon never getting any news about Sandra.

This morning I finally reached her. She stated that her mom died the night before last around 12:00 midnight. Sandra told me she felt sad but blessed because if I had not set up this mini-reunion when I did, she would have never been there during her mom’s last days.

She also said, that her husband would never had been able to negotiate her mom’s care with the hospital nor would have been able to use his connections with other Pathologists to get her mom’s test results back quicker then normal. Her husband would also never have gotten days off work on such short notice to even do these things if he had not already been in NYC during this time. Her statement about feeling blessed more then anything else really touched my heart and made me cry the most.

Also, when I first saw her for the first time in 39 years last March, she said she thought there was a reason why I found her now. She felt there was no such thing as a coincidence and that everything happens for a reason. I am beginning to think she is so right.

So, what do you think? Was these events destined to happen the way they did? Did I really find her recently so I was able to make the mini reunion arrangements when I did?  I don’t think we will ever know the answers to these questions however these are interesting possibilities to think about.

Here are some pictures:

My Trip to the Eastern State Penitentiary

My Trip to the Eastern State Penitentiary
jun 14th, 2007

As some of you know, I just came back from a trip to Philly and NYC. I did not send a bulletin about this because my specific purpose for going to NYC was to attend a mini reunion with three newly found friends from my sixth grade class. I was there for only a few days and therefore did not have time to do any other type of socializing. I therefore apologize if some of you would have liked to hook up with me while I was there. I will write another blog about the mini reunion soon, so stay tuned.

One of the highlights of my Philly trip was visiting the Eastern State Penitentiary. It is a fascinating and historic place to visit and many people have reported seeing both shadow and full body apparitions while touring the place. Former inmates and guards have also reported having the same paranormal experiences.

One of the most famous former inmates at this prison was Al Capone. While he was a prisoner there, he sworn the Ghost of a man was haunting him in retaliation for ordering the mob to murder him. Capone would be found in his cell many nights screaming at the man to leave him alone. When the prison guards responded to his screams, they would find no one.

One of the most interesting stories about Al Capone is that this prison treated him as a celebrity while he was there. He actually had a real bed to sleep in, a radio, a desk to write on and a lamp. These were luxuries not available to other inmates. If you visit the prison today, his cell is still furnished the way it was then. You will recognize the picture of Al Capone cell because it will have a red bed spread.

While I was there, I noticed that cell rooms 6 and 12 were only open to special groups. I wondered why that was so. Well, when I got home, I did some research into the matter and found out that most of the sighting reports have occurred in cell rooms 6 and 12, the Death Row area, the Infirmary and the Central Guard tower. It is unfortunate that these rooms were not available to the public because I would have loved to visit the cells and take pictures. I did go the Death row area. Unfortunately, I did not visit the infirmary or the Central guard tower.

I did not see anything out of the ordinary while I was there but it sure was an amazing place to visit. Here is a slide show of the pictures I took. Some of the pictures contain sculptures that local artists from Philly have created and put into the cells.

You can see the pictures on my photobucket account here: (Maybe some of you might see something that I missed.)

My First Tarot Card Reading Party

Wednesday, May 16, 2007
Thanks to an invitation from my MYSPACE friend, Buddy Dolan, I got to attend my veryfirst Tarot Card Reading Party last night. I had no idea what to expect but I must say that I had a very amazing time. There was a total of 6 people attending. This number includes the psychic himself.

The psychic’s name was Tobi Ellison. He is well known in the Paranormal communities of
Orange County, Florida and Los Angeles, Ca. He started out by telling us that he always
had abilities to predict things as a child and later decided to hone in on his abilities by
learning the art of card reading to tell people’s fortunes.

We then had a short question and answer period. I asked him if he was affiliated with

Cassadaga which is a town near Orlando where all residents are Psychics and found out
that he was not. I did find out that he is currently working on a web site that will be online
soon.

Next, he led us through a meditation type exercise. He said it was very important for
people to be relaxed to allow any spirit guides or spirit energies to come through our space.

After our relaxation exercise period, the card reading began. He asked the first participant
to shuffle a deck of cards and then break them into two parts. These card were ordinary cards
and not tarot ones. He uses these kinds of cards for the first part of the reading. He uses
special angel cards for the second half of the reading.

During the first half, he reads the persons fortune in front of the entire group and advices the
person not to interrupt him during the reading. He then gets out a set of angel cards, shuffles
them, and ask the person he is reading for to chose 4 cards at random. During the second half,
the person he is reading for gets an
opportunity to ask questions.

The psychic continues this process with all people attending the party. Every once in a while
he will interrupt a person’s reading for a moment because he would get a sudden message
for another person in the group. It was so fascinating and entertaining to hear everyone else’s
reading and to see an expression of their faces of pure amazement as they listened to Tobi.
During the party, we all took little breaks for food and drink. Diana, who was hosting the party,
had a lovely apartment and did a great job providing refreshments for all.

Personally, my reading could not have been more accurate. I have gone to other psychics before
and paid up to $ 50.00 for a reading. However, never before did I have a reading where I said
nothing and the psychic said it all. Out of the entire group, he told me that I had psychic abilities
and that I should get some cards and learn how to use them to do psychic readings.

He also advised me to go to Cassadaga when I can because it would help me to hone in on my
abilities. He said the time was finally right for me to come out into the open and use my
gifts. Also, that by next year around this time, I should be an entirely different person.

These statements did not surprise me in the least bit. I always known I had special abilities to
predict things and ever since I was eight years old, I have been seeing things of a Paranormal
nature and had strange things happen to me that I could never explain.

Up until I joined several online social networks 13 months ago, I have been scared to tell anyone about these things for fear of being rejected and labeled insane. However, since I have been been a member of these online groups, I have met many people in the Paranormal community that are like me and it has empowered me to open up about my experiences and abilities.

I currently teach college students and in the past, I wouldn’t even dream of speaking to my
students about these topics. However, these days, I am speaking to everyone of my classes
about my experiences without fear. To my surprise, many students have opened up and told
me about their Paranormal experiences.

The psychic was not selling any products, however, he highly recommended for every one to
watch, “The Secret” and also, “The Secret behind the Secret”. He also recommended for one
of the people in our group to read, “Many Masters, Many Lives” and for another to read,
“Conversation with God”. His normal fee for a reading was $35.00 which I gladly paid.

In all, I had a wonderful time and met a bunch of friendly and interesting people. However,
my favorite part was meeting my MYSPACE friend, Buddy Dolan. He has been on my list
since the first of the year. I have enjoyed my chats with him very much and thought he
was a real gentleman and great person. Well, I was not disappointed. Buddy, thanks for
inviting me last night and for being my friend.

Reunion with Long Lost Friend

Original date published: Monday, April 02, 2007

During the 1967/68 school year, I was a sixth grader at a school located in the Bronx borough of NYC. My best friend at the time was a girl named Sandra. We would always be at each other homes after school and have sleepovers.

This was the year Maxi Coats were in vogue. I remember that Sandra and I both wore Navy Blue Maxi coats. I also remember we each had a pair of black Baby-doll shoes, white lace up Go-Go boots and wore chain belts with our mini skirts, dresses and pants. Sandra and I always loved to wear the latest fashions. I felt like a fashion diva during that time. Well, the school year ended and sadly we both went to different Junior High Schools. I ran into her a few more times but we quickly lost touch.

As an adult, I have thought about Sandra for years and always wondered whatever became of her. I have used Google and other search engines many times since 1994 hoping to find her someday. Last month, I just happened to find a free web site that helps people find long lost friends and relatives.I created an account and posted a plea hoping to find Sandra and wrote as many details that I could about her.

I was so shocked to find a response in my personal mailbox the very next day from a total stranger who thought he knew where my friend was. He gave me the name of her husbands website. Her husband is a Pathologist here in Florida. He warned me that he may be wrong and it may be someone else with the same name. Also, he wrote that he found the information on a public database and he had no idea whether this couple was still married. He wrote that he was not a detective but just loved to use his cyber-sleuth skills to help people. I was so excited because if he was right, she only lived a three-hour drive away from my home.

I quickly went to the website which has a contact me link. I wrote a note to the doctor and waited anxiously for a response. I was really praying that this was the right person and that he was married to my friend. I wrote my contact information in the message. Well, on Saturday morning, my cell phone rang. It was my friend Sandra. We talked non-stop for a few hours and promised to keep in touch. Her mom was visiting her from NYC on the day she called and after her company left; she wanted to get together with me.

Her mom finally left about two weeks later and we made plans to get together the last week of March that was my paid Spring Break from my job as a college professor. So last Thursday, I finally got together with my best friend from the sixth grade. We had the most amazing time. I could hardly believe it had been 39 years since we last saw each other.

I found out that we still have a lot in common. Both of our favorite ice cream flavors are pineapple/coconut and we both use Stevia as a sweetener. She is also into big time bodybuilding. She is also in the education field. Even though at the moment, she is not working anywhere, she used to be a teacher for special need kids and then a Principal of the same school. We also showed up wearing similar outfits.

We compared notes on our husbands, and we both married men who have similar traits. Both of our husbands are in the health field. Both of our husbands are serious most of the time and a little introverted.

So, in closing, I am so glad I took a chance and posted my message on the www.peoplesite.com website. The site was totally free and I never imagined I would get results as fast as I did. So, if you guys are looking for any long lost friends, I highly recommend this site. After all, you have nothing to lose and you may be the next person writing a blog similar to mine.
